Many of us come to the mat and experience yoga as exercise and a strategy for stress reduction. Maybe we try it because we’ve been told it will help with an injury or health condition. These are all GREAT reasons to find the mat. But we learn quickly that there is so much more.
Join us for this weekend workshop exploring the practices of a yogic life. Learn what Yoga is and how to bring it to life as a personal practice. We will explore the 4 paths of yoga: Raja, Karma, Bhakti and Jnana. We will experience the practice of yoga asanas and pranayama and discuss other ways to bring yoga into our daily living through an introduction to the Eight Limbs of Yoga as described in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.
This workshop is required for all students intending to pursue 100 or 200 hour teacher certification through Yoga Bloom. Click HERE for more information on teacher training.
