What is Hatha Yoga?
Hatha Yoga is based on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and serves as the basis of all yogic traditions taught in the Western World. In our studio, a Hatha Yoga class will focus on the basics of the yoga poses, or asanas, and proper use of breath to support the body. Hatha classes take a gentle approach and may or may not incorporate some flow between poses.
