LifeForce Yoga

What Is LifeForce Yoga®?

LifeForce Yoga was developed for the management of depression and anxiety by Amy Weintraub. This practice uses a system of meditation, pranayama (breath), visualization, mantra, mudra and sound in combination with familiar yoga asanas (poses). Regular practice of the techniques taught in a LifeForce class can help mediate mood disorders when practiced in conjunction with appropriate medical treatment.

For those without mood disorders, the practice can help with management of daily stress to balance the spirit. It can also be helpful for short term mood imbalances such as those experienced with grief, lifestyle changes, etc..
